This is easily one of the best-est pictures here :-) You have named it so perfectly. The praying mantis does look like an alien here. But there is another way to see it too. It also looks like he's dressed in a green leafy business suit and is finalising a business deal. I wonder if insects have any businesses? For them the whole world maybe as small as a garden. A wall might seem like the end of the world.
